Actress and storyteller Clarinda Ross introduces us to three generations of charming and eccentric characters in this powerful, poignant and sweetly funny family portrait. We meet Carl, a university professor whose legacy for his daughter is the little bits of wisdom she finds in his journals; Clarinda, who copes with her father’s loss while raising a daughter who is developmentally disabled; and the lovely, loving Clara, who wants to be “a big girl” but still clings tightly to her mother’s hand. Through this beautifully told, deeply personal story, we experience the hopes, pains and joys of parenthood, and realize that sometimes we learn to be grownups through our children.
“Truly captivating.” --LA TIMESClick on a date in the list below to purchase tickets.
