Hamlet II... is a mad, zany parody of the original complete with a new, happy ending. The whole gang is here: Gertrude, Claudius, Polonius and the old dead King as you've never seen them before; Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, the dim-witted twins from Hamlet's college days; Ophelia, free love practitioner; and Laertes, aspiring hairdresser. As expected, Hamlet mopes, ponders and plots, but ultimately he decides to abandon revenge and embrace a new life of peace, love and happiness, albeit not before he gets to write a hit musical. Tragedy gets a groovy makeover and Denmark may never be the same.

SBTS has rated this show PG13.

Proceeds go towards Shakespeare by the Sea's annual admission free festival.

Dr. Prentice attempts to seduce an aspiring secretary but all goes awry in this ferociously funny, door-slamming, cross-dressing modern classic from that great playwright and infamous social satirist, Joe Orton.  There's no butler in this comic bedlam, but you'll see plenty--the doctor's insatiable wife, a randy bellhop, a befuddled policeman, a mad government inspector, and perhaps even the formidable manhood of Sir Winston Churchill--an uproarious sex farce with a satiric edge.
